Asset Tokenization: Unlocking New Capital Flows for Vietnam’s Economy
During the panel “Asset Tokenization and the Future of the Global Capital Market” at Conviction 2026, Mr. Hoàng Việt Anh, Member of the Board of Directors at SCEX, shared his insights on the potential of tokenization to connect real-world assets with new capital sources, particularly international funding.
From Mr. Việt Anh’s perspective, tokenization is far more than just a technology story. Looking further ahead, it can evolve into an innovative capital-raising channel, expanding connectivity between local Vietnamese projects or assets and global investors.
Vietnam is currently building a regulatory framework and a sandbox roadmap for the crypto asset market step by step. As regulatory sandbox mechanisms mature and market experience accumulates, tokenization is expected—within the next 3 to 5 years—to unlock broader applications in the real economy, grounded in compliance with applicable laws and standards at each phase.
High-potential sectors include real estate, infrastructure, green energy, carbon credits, and data centers—asset classes tied to the real growth demands of the economy with the capacity to attract long-term capital.
As a Strategic Partner of Conviction 2026, SCEX joined hands with the event to exchange perspectives with the international community on the emerging trends shaping digital asset and capital markets over the coming decade.(Vietnam Crypto Exchange)
Asset tokenization may begin with technology, but its ultimate value lies in how that technology successfully connects assets with capital flows to generate tangible value for the real economy.
