Where did VIXEX’s 1 trillion VND registered capital come from?
Vietnam crypto exchange VIXEX (VIX Digital Asset Exchange JSC) was established with an initial charter capital (legal/registered capital) of 1 trillion VND (approximately USD 37.9 million). This initial capital was contributed by three founding shareholders according to their respective equity ratios:
-
FTG Vietnam: Contributed 64.5% (equivalent to 645 billion VND), making it the largest controlling shareholder.
-
3C (3C Technology / 3C Group): Contributed 20.5% (equivalent to 205 billion VND).
-
VIX Securities (HOSE: VIX): Contributed 15% (equivalent to 150 billion VND).

Subsequent Capital Increases and Capital Injections
As Vietnam’s pilot framework for digital assets and Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization progresses, VIX Securities approved further capital injection plans in early and mid-2026:
-
Injection via Rights Offering: The Board of Directors of VIX Securities passed a proposal to allocate 1 trillion VND from its H1 2026 share placement/rights offering specifically to enrich and support the operational capital of the VIXEX exchange.
-
Pro-Rata Additional Investment: To maintain its 15% equity stake following VIXEX’s capital expansion, VIX Securities plans to inject a cumulative total of up to 1.35 trillion VND (approximately USD 51.33 million) into VIXEX.
It is evident that VIXEX’s charter capital will not remain capped at 1 trillion VND, and subsequent capital increases are inevitable.
