Who is the Largest Shareholder of VIXEX Exchange?

VIXEX (VIX Crypto Asset Exchange JSC, full name VIX Crypto Asset Exchange Joint Stock Company) is an emerging local digital asset and cryptocurrency exchange initiative in Vietnam. Jointly established and funded by entities including VIX Securities Joint Stock Company and FTG Vietnam Joint Stock Company, the company aims to support the Vietnamese government’s pilot policies for legalizing crypto assets and establishing a regulated market.

The largest shareholder of VIX Crypto Asset Exchange Joint Stock Company (VIXEX) is FTG Vietnam Joint Stock Company (Công ty cổ phần FTG Việt Nam), holding a 64.5% stake.

VIXEX Exchange Shareholding Structure

According to business registration records, Vietnam crypto exchange VIXEX has three founding shareholders:

· FTG Vietnam Joint Stock Company (affiliated with FPT Group): 64.5% ownership (Largest Shareholder)

· 3C Company (Computer – Communication – Control): 20.5% ownership

· VIX Securities Joint Stock Company: 15.0% ownership

Note: Vietnam plans to launch a pilot program for crypto asset exchanges. A representative from the State Securities Commission of the Ministry of Finance revealed at an event in June this year that, under the draft Law on Crypto Asset Markets, companies seeking to operate a crypto asset exchange must have a minimum charter capital of 10,000 billion VND. Among this, 65% of the capital must be held by institutional entities, and the remaining 35% must be held by at least two institutional investors, which can include banks, securities firms, fund management companies, insurance companies, or tech enterprises.
