LPS Securities Raises 4.8 Trillion VND and Acquires Stake in Crypto Exchange SCEX
LPS Securities Joint Stock Company (LPS Securities) has recently executed major capital raising and strategic investment moves. The company completed a VND 1,000 billion private bond placement and approved a plan to issue up to VND 3,800 billion in public bonds. Simultaneously, it announced a decision to subscribe to additional shares in Sacom Cryptocurrency Exchange JSC (SCEX), which is currently awaiting operating license approval from regulatory authorities.

Issuing Multiple Bond Tranches: Raising a Total of 4.8 Trillion VND
According to reports submitted to the Hanoi Stock Exchange, LPS Securities successfully completed a private bond issuance (code: LPSL12602) between September 17 and October 6, 2026, raising VND 400 billion. The bonds have a face value of VND 100 million each, a one-year term, and a fixed interest rate of 10.5% per annum. Prior to this, on August 27, the company raised VND 600 billion via bond code LPSL12601 under similar terms and conditions.
Building on the VND 1,000 billion raised through private placements, the Board of Directors approved Resolution No. 108A to offer up to VND 3,800 billion (38 million bonds) in uncollateralized, non-convertible public bonds across two tranches:
- First Tranche (LPSC12601): Scheduled for execution from Q4 2026 to Q1 2027, aiming to raise VND 1,800 billion.
- Second Tranche (LPSC12602): Scheduled for Q1 to Q2 2027, with a maximum value of VND 2,000 billion.
These public bonds carry a two-year maturity, with a fixed interest rate of 10.5% per annum for the first period and a floating rate equal to the reference rate plus 3.5% per annum for subsequent periods. Minimum subscription thresholds are set at VND 1 million (10 bonds) for individual investors and VND 100 million (1,000 bonds) for institutional investors.
Strategic Stake in SCEX: Positioning for the Digital Asset Market
Alongside its fundraising activities, the Board of Directors approved Resolution No. 115D on October 2, 2026, agreeing in principle for LPS Securities to acquire newly issued shares in the capital increase of Sacom Cryptocurrency Exchange Joint Stock Company (SCEX).
SCEX is one of five enterprises currently applying for an operating license to run a cryptocurrency trading market under Government Resolution No. 05. The Ministry of Finance has evaluated SCEX’s application as fulfilling all necessary and valid criteria for licensing consideration.
Industry observers note that acquiring a stake in SCEX while actively raising capital allows LPS Securities to diversify its investment portfolio and build a strong foundation for future participation in the digital asset trading market.
