How to Trade RWAs on the TCEX Exchange
TCEX is a local compliant digital asset exchange backed by Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) and its affiliated brokerage, TCBS. Trading Real World Assets (RWA) on the TCEX exchange involves mapping real-world physical or financial assets—such as real estate, bonds, and private equity—onto blockchain tokens.
Standard Step-by-Step RWA Trading Process
1.Account Registration & Compliance (KYC/AML)
Identity Verification: Submit proof of identity (passport/ID), proof of address, and relevant tax information.
Accredited Investor Verification: Accessing high-value or specific RWA products (such as unlisted real estate shares or private debt) may require verification as an Accredited Investor.
2.Funding Your Account
Fiat & Stablecoin Deposits: Transfer fiat currency (e.g., VND, USD) via TCEX-linked bank accounts or deposit platform-supported stablecoins (e.g., USDT, USDC) to use as trading capital.
3.RWA Trading Mechanisms
Spot Trading: Buy and sell asset tokens (representing specific real estate fractions, bonds, etc.) directly using USDT or fiat in the dedicated RWA trading zone, similar to standard crypto trading.
Primary Market Subscription: Subscribe directly to asset shares from the issuer during the initial asset launch stage (STO/IPO).
Yield & Dividends: Hold RWA tokens to automatically receive yield generated by the underlying real-world asset (such as rental income or bond interest) distributed via smart contracts.
4.Custody, Withdrawal & Redemption
Compliant Custody: Purchased RWA tokens are held securely by TCEX or its partnered third-party compliant custodians.
Redemption to Cash: To convert tokens back into real-world assets or fiat, sell them on the secondary market or initiate a platform redemption process where tokens are burned in exchange for fiat currency.
