What is the registered capital of the TCEX exchange?
When applying for a pilot cryptocurrency exchange license in Vietnam, Vietnam’s Techcom Digital Asset Exchange (TCEX, part of the Techcombank / TCBS ecosystem) adjusted its registered capital/initial capital, quickly increasing it from the initial approximately 3 billion VND (about $114,000 USD) to 101 billion VND (about $3,858,000 USD).

The specific breakdown of TCEX exchange’s registered capital changes is as follows:
· Initial registered capital (upon establishment in May 2025): 3 billion VND
· Registered capital after capital increase (entering the compliance pilot application phase): 101 billion VND
Vietnam crypto exchange TCEX Shareholding structure:
· Nguyen Xuan Minh (Chairman of TCBS): 89% stake
· Techcom Securities (TCBS): 9.9% stake
· Techcom Capital: 1.1% stake
It is worth noting that the minimum registered capital / paid-in capital threshold set by the Vietnamese government for the digital asset exchange pilot mechanism is actually as high as 10 trillion VND (about $380 million to $400 million USD), and local applicant enterprises, including TCEX, are currently in the process of advancing toward meeting these standards.
