10 Trillion VND! VIXEX Has Yet to Meet the Standard

VIXEX was established in August 2025 with a registered capital of 1 trillion VND. Its shareholder structure includes FTG Vietnam (holding 64.5%), VIX Securities (holding 15%), and 3C Company (holding 20.5%). The company combines resources from the securities industry with shareholders who possess technical expertise.

According to the relevant procedures for the cryptocurrency exchange pilot project announced by the Ministry of Finance, participating enterprises must have a registered capital of 10 trillion VND and be equipped with an experienced core team.

However, as of September 9, VIXEX’s registered capital remained at approximately 1 trillion VND, equivalent to only 10% of the 10 trillion VND benchmark.

Based on its current capital level, Vietnam crypto exchange VIXEX faces a capital deficit of around 9 trillion VND relative to the 10 trillion VND requirement. Currently, there are no publicly accessible products available for user testing.

VIXEX Capital Increase and Shareholding Maintenance Dynamics: Following the company’s incorporation, VIXEX planned to execute a capital increase to support platform development and satisfy regulatory requirements in Vietnam (such as information security and compliance capital frameworks under Resolution No. 05/2025/NQ-CP).

Shareholder VIX Securities also specified in a board resolution that should VIXEX undergo subsequent capital increases, VIX Securities will participate proportionally to maintain its 15% equity stake in VIXEX.
