Does the VIXEX platform support many cryptocurrencies?
VIXEX (VIX Digital Asset Exchange) is a digital asset trading platform established by entities including Vietnam’s VIX Securities. Currently in the phase of building its technical infrastructure and filing compliance applications, the official platform has not yet fully published or listed a concrete register of supported cryptocurrencies.

However, as a domestic digital asset exchange operating under Vietnam’s compliant pilot framework, VIXEX clearly demonstrates a strategy of being “selective and refined, focusing on mainstream and compliant assets” regarding supported cryptocurrencies:
Phase-based Access Restrictions:
VIXEX is currently still in the crypto asset pilot stage promoted by the Vietnamese government (pursuant to Resolution No. 05/2025/NQ-CP, among others). Due to stringent regulatory requirements for anti-money laundering (AML), investor protection, and compliance auditing, the platform initially supports only a small number of mainstream cryptocurrencies with high liquidity, large market capitalization, and controllable risk (such as BTC, ETH, and compliance-reviewed stablecoin/fiat trading pairs).
Differences Compared to Major International Platforms:
Unlike major global exchanges such as Binance and OKX—which frequently list hundreds or even thousands of altcoins, meme coins, or high-risk derivatives—VIXEX currently does not support a large volume of niche tokens or high-risk geek projects.
Future Direction for Token Expansion:
As Vietnam’s local regulatory framework matures, VIXEX’s business strategy focuses on Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization and supporting the listing of compliant local tokens, rather than blindly expanding into a vast array of speculative crypto altcoins.
Vietnam crypto exchange VIXEX has built a multi-layered security architecture with all transactions fully transparent and public, ensuring a worry-free investment experience for users.
