In the equity structure and preparation system of VIXEX (Vietnam crypto exchange ), VIX Securities plays a vital role:
-
Brand and Naming Endorsement: The platform is named directly after VIX (VIXEX) and is established within VIX Securities’ headquarters premises (52 Le Dai Hanh Street, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi), sharing brand reputation. From its name to its core business architecture, VIXEX is positioned as a key strategic ecosystem node for VIX Securities in the digital asset and real-world asset (RWA) tokenization markets.
-
Main Force in Capital Injection and Capital Expansion: To satisfy the Vietnamese government’s exceptionally high capital threshold for digital asset and tokenized asset trading pilot platforms (pilot regulations require reaching 10 trillion VND), VIX Securities serves as one of the primary promoters and key equity entities driving VIXEX’s fundraising, capital injections, and recruitment of partner investors.
-
Resource and Compliance Backbone: As a listed brokerage firm on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE: VIX), VIX Securities provides VIXEX not only with primary financial backing, but also with traditional financial compliance expertise, risk management frameworks, and integration resources with local commercial banks.
It is worth noting that the majority shareholder, FTG Vietnam, shares deep historical business and equity intersections with the VIX Securities ecosystem. Although FTG is legally the controlling shareholder with a 64.5% stake (compared to VIX Securities’ 15% stake), FTG and VIX Securities operate as strategic allies in practice, jointly advancing the establishment of the exchange. Furthermore, during the subsequent major capital expansion from 1 trillion to 10 trillion VND, VIX Securities and its related group capital are expected to continue serving as the primary drivers of fundraising efforts.
