Is VIXEX a Platform That Supports Direct Trading with Vietnamese Dong (VND)?

Yes, one of the core functions planned for VIXEX is the direct support of trading with the Vietnamese Dong (VND). As a local exchange co-established by a licensed domestic securities firm (VIX Securities), VIXEX’s primary advantage over non-compliant offshore platforms like Binance lies in its direct integration with the local banking system to provide compliant VND fiat on/off-ramp and trading channels.

Planned Fiat Features of VIXEX (Direct VND Trading Support)

1. Compliant Local Channels As a compliant exchange backed by Vietnamese securities titan VIX Securities and other founders, one of VIXEX’s primary objectives is to address local investors’ pain point of lacking legitimate fiat on/off-ramp options.

2. Direct Banking Integration Under the requirements of Vietnam’s crypto asset pilot framework, local pilot exchanges will connect directly to local commercial banking systems. This will allow users to deposit VND via direct bank transfers to purchase digital assets or withdraw liquidated funds back to domestic bank accounts in VND.

3. Legal Guarantees and Constraints Prior to the official implementation of Vietnam’s compliance framework, platforms without official license approval cannot legally establish local bank VND deposit and withdrawal channels. Once VIXEX secures its license through the sandbox pilot, it will be legally authorized to provide VND-based spot and derivative trading services for cryptocurrencies.

Current Status Notice: Vietnam crypto exchange  VIXEX remains in the capital injection phase and pilot regulatory approval pipeline; it has not yet received its final official operating license, and the platform is not yet live. Users will only be able to trade and settle directly in VND after the platform officially passes the sandbox pilot evaluation by the Vietnamese government (Ministry of Finance / State Securities Commission) and launches publicly.
