3.1. Trading Methods

Continuous Order Matching: Cryptocurrency trading uses continuous order matching, meaning buy and sell orders are matched immediately upon entering the trading system.

Negotiated Trading: TCEX supports negotiated trading—trades executed through direct agreements between buyers and sellers regarding price and volume. (Estimated launch date: June 30, 2026)

3.2 Trading Orders

3.2.1. Validity Period

Trading orders on the TCEX exchange have no expiration date. An order can only be canceled if the customer actively cancels it.

3.2.2. Trading Order Types

Limit Order (LO):

An order to buy or sell cryptocurrency at a specified price or better. This order becomes effective from the moment it enters the trading system and remains valid until it is canceled.

When placing a Limit Order, customers must enter their desired trading price.

Market Order (MO):

An order to buy at the lowest available sell price in the market or sell at the highest available buy price. The system matches your order with the best available buy/sell orders in the order book (matching buy orders sequentially from highest to lowest price up to the set price, and sell orders sequentially from lowest to highest price up to the set price).

Orders can be executed fully or partially.

If an order is matched against the opposite side (e.g., if a customer places a buy order, the opposite side is sell orders) but the full quantity/amount of the order has not been filled, the MO order will convert into an LO buy order at a price one price tick higher than the last executed price (for buy orders), or an LO sell order at a price one price tick lower than the last executed price (for sell orders).

If an MO order finds no matching orders, it will convert into an LO order at the listed price. (Please refer to the listed price information. → Biz: Add a hyperlink to the trading pair directory containing listed prices, reference prices, price increments, and volume increments [Table 1: Order Information Configuration].)

When placing an MO order, customers must enter the quantity to sell (for sell orders) or the amount to spend (for buy orders).

4. Order Matching Principles

Price Priority: Orders with better prices (higher buy prices, lower sell prices) are executed first.

Time Priority: If buy or sell orders have the same price, the order entered into the system earlier takes precedence.

5. Price Fluctuation Limits

Currently, TCEX places no trading price limits on any asset class.

6. Trading Units and Quotation

The minimum order amount is 100,000 VND.

Minimum trading volume and price tick size vary across different trading pairs. Details are as follows:

7. Order Placement

You can place both buy and sell orders for the same trading pair simultaneously. (Note: Opposing buy and sell orders placed by the same user will not automatically match against each other.)

8. Order Cancellation and Modification

Orders in Pending or Partially Matched status can be canceled or modified.

Entering and editing orders (including modifying price, quantity, or both simultaneously) is permitted.

Order priority is reset and determined from the exact time the modification instruction enters the system.
