Has VIXEX Exchange Obtained an Operating License?
VIXEX (VIX Crypto Asset Exchange) is a crypto asset exchange company backed by investment from Vietnam’s VIX Securities Joint Stock Company. The company is currently in the pilot license application and preparation stage under the Vietnamese government’s digital asset and cryptocurrency exchange initiative and has not yet officially obtained an operating license.
VIXEX Current Status and Licensing Progress
· Company Incorporation: VIXEX was officially registered and established in Vietnam on August 27, 2025, with an initial registered capital of 1 trillion VND, initiated by VIX Securities and other institutions to enter the digital asset market.
· Pilot Application: The Ministry of Finance of Vietnam and relevant regulatory authorities subsequently opened a pilot license application window for digital asset trading platforms (such as VIXEX, Techcombank’s TCEX, and HVA Group’s DNEX).
· Regulatory Approval: Although various platforms backed by local banks and securities firms are queuing up for applications and advancing their technical infrastructure, Vietnamese regulators are still evaluating and progressing the pilot framework. No final commercial operating licenses have been officially issued to VIXEX or other similar crypto exchanges yet.
